If anyone is wondering what to do for a weekend excursion then I would strongly recommend getting out of town to view our Western Australian countryside at the moment!
Good winter rains have made for lush green pastures, awesome canola fields and an excellent array of wildflowers in the wildflower regions.
The above image is a good example of a typical canola vista.
Over the last few weekends I have been out to North of Southern Cross in the North East, Cervantes in the coastal North and Bluff Knoll in our South and onto Margaret River region in our South West.
All of those areas are absolutely stunning at the moment!
