Getting back to the country a bit with this image captured a little while ago whilst on shoot with my mate Brett Morgan. We covered about 1,000 kms on this shoot and found some pretty cool stuff along the way, as well as some mediocre stuff, but it was a fun day out!
I would encourage everyone to get out into the country next year during spring as it really is worth a look and it is so vastly different from the North East to our South West!
Cool shot Mark, looks like a cool storm brewing.
I agree about going and looking at the country, just drove to Karijini and the scenery along the way was just amazing. It had been sooooo long since I’d driven up that way I forgot how awesome it is.
How was Karijini Andrea?
Some cool layers in this one Mark 🙂
Yep I reckon it would look better bigger for sure as the layers would stand out more Toneman!
Great shot! I too am loving the layers in this.
Thanks Katrina, Flembot and Armand!
Flembot, I could go back now and shoot it and then it would be baby shit brown!:)
A nice wide open space and storm, liking it a lot. Not too sure about the green, like Dave says “green looks sh*t in photos” 🙂
Nice storm shot, makes me all relaxed just looking at it. I actually like the green, it gives it some punch.
Haha, baby shit brown would probably be less appetizing then green, I wounder when this weather will give in to the sun.
Dan
I reckon so Dan…I think the weather is turning now mate…its quite nice over at Rotto!
Just came back from a week long gander in the Gascoyne and Mid West and there were lots of scenes like that all over. I was surprised to see wildflowers still going up there… can’t imagine how amazing it must have been at the height of the season. Ah, wish I was back in the bush instead of trapped in a concrete block in the city… *sigh*
It was a good season for sure this year Charlene and yes indeed that is quite incredible that they are still there!
