Urchin Chaos

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I had some fun with the Olympus OM-D on the weekend again and this little composition caught my eye.

I called the image Urchin Chaos as it is the look of chaos that is strangely structured that draws you in. So many straight lines, yet so many different angles and varying degrees of light.

Some what of an abstract image, but it well describes the mood of the dive yesterday as it seemed to be sea urchin city.

The dive ended with somewhat of a drama in that my mates saw someone racing to the surface and then getting picked up by a boat close to where our boat was and there was abandoned gear under our boat?

A mystery for sure. I dived up the abandoned gear and we took it to the rangers who informed us that there had been 3 dive incidents at Rottnest on the weekend. All novice divers apparently running out of air and doing emergency ascents.

Never a dull moment as they say!
