A few crew have been posting cool storm front shots lately, so I thought I might put this one up!
Taken a few years ago in the Mighty Mitchell River on a day when it was steamy hot and a beautiful thunderhead appeared right over True North!
I call the image, Mitchell Cloud Florets.
We went over to visit my Daughter and Son in Law today and on the way out their new pup Marley felt very left out, pushing such a sad face through the wobbly fence picket.
Couldn’t resist a quick capture!
I went for a bit of a walk around with Mr Spool and Andrew Mc Inness this morning before the rain kicked in and I got the impression the lads thought I was a little nuts with some of the stuff I was shooting!
I had a particular idea and look in mind and this is something like it!
The trek down to this spot was quite a considerable walk down a hill side in the early hours with shooting buddy AB from Abscenes.
Quite a pretty little scene in its own right.
Then was the trek back up…who says photography doesn’t keep you fit!
A 2 layer stitch of a sweeping Vineyard in the Dandenong’s.
Possibly a week or 2 late…but not too bad all the same.
A couple of shots showing the diversity of beauty in this beautiful state.
Another Friday the 13th Full Moon shot from last night!
Murf and I went out to shoot the Friday the 13th Full Moon this evening and had a few issues finding the right location…but I managed to pull this one off in the end!
East Perth bridge leading into the Graham Farmer tunnel.
Mr AB Scenes suggested we check out Princess Pier Pylons on the way out on Sunday.
It was lucky we checked it out early as it was standing room only later in the evening at sunset time with all the photogs vying for the best position!
The funny thing was that they were all so focused on the signature shot that an obvious sunset shot over the freeway was totally missed by all!
Anyway, I was reasonably happy to get these and to check out the area.
A few more shots from the Dandenongs a few weeks ago.
