Lee and I finished 2015 with a nice feed of freshly caught whiting which we crumbed with Panko crumbs, accompanied with a stir fry of potatoes, cherry tomatoes, celery, mushrooms and snow peas.
A nice way to finish off what was a very pleasant and successful year.
Thanks to all my loyal followers who take the time to comment, look and like my posts.
My Blog summary for the year showed me I reached 35,000 please this year!
Have a great new year everyone! 🙂
With the windy weather yesterday, I decided to poke around the lakes to see what I could find and found this nice little scene with a flock of Oyster Catchers doing their thing.
They always seem to be looking for food and are always busy little fellas!
A 4 image stitch with a 400mm lens.
A bit of a windy day today, so we set out to the middle of the Island for a long walk and some ‘pinging’!
The Pink Lakes are quite low now which works well ti showcase the Pink Lakes in full colour.
I found a few new vantage points today which I was happy with as well.
Not a bad sunset at Rottnest this evening.
Looks like we are in for a bit of wind over the coming days and maybe even a thunderstorm or 2…..bring it on I say!
We are also having fireworks for New Years eve over here which will be a first for the island, so your truly will be there ready, willing and able! 🙂
We have had the best start to the Xmas Rottnest season for a number of years with very clear water and light winds for a change, so I took the opportunity to get out to Transit to capture an Infinity shot.
This was the result!
After seeing Christian Fletcher’s shot of the electric BMW against some Meelup trees, I recalled that I was still yet to get my own version of the classic tree lined beach at Meelup, so this morning I set out to do just that!
Meelup would be up there as one of the most stunning beaches in WA and the silhouetted trees certainly assist to add to that beauty.
Now that one of our yacht projects has had some clutter cleared from it, I grabbed the opportunity to do a bit of an artistic shoot of the progress the other day.
This is the result. 25 images all up!
We did our annual Xmas ride today around the river.
A tough gig with the wind today for sure.
Is this Southerly ever going to let up???
Gino stole the day with his Xmas Mankini…fortunately he put it over his lycra! 🙂
The boys lifted the first big Super Structure module into place this evening which more like a theme out of star wars than a Super Yacht photo!
All of the aluminium team were suitable and justifiably proud.
I have now completed a short video of our golf day out.
A bit of fun…hope you like it!
